Medtech32 FAQ
Q: What happened to my November 2016 full/CD update?
A:The file sizes of Medsafe Datasheets have grown unmanageable to include as a single full update file. For those practices who receive discs on quarterly basis, there will be no discs supplied for this update. We are currently working with the Medtech team to evaluate options to improve your future monthly data update experience.
Q: I am getting a Borland Database Engine error at the end (Audit window) when running the MIMS update. What can I do?
A:Please close Medtech32 program while running the MIMS update.
Q: I am getting an error when running the MIMS update. What can I do?
A: Typically there are two main causes when you see an error message when running the update file.
- The download process may have finished prematurely and the file is corrupted. Please check the file size of the update and download again if it doesn't match.
- The security setting on the computer is blocking the file from running correctly. Please try on a different workstation that has access to Medtech (or the Medtech server).
Q: The full update download is taking too long. Is there an alternative download location?
A: MIMS February 2017 download file
Q: How can I tell that the update has
worked?
A: Click the "Help" menu
within MedTech32 and choose "About MIMS". The issue
date should read as the first of the current month. Disregard
the words "Unregistered version" if you see them.
Q: Where can I get more help?
A: Contact MIMS Support on 0508 464 676 or email
