FAQ
Q: I am having problem with my HealthLink
or I do not have HealthLink installed and it is not letting
me proceed with the update.
A: Please
right-click here and choose to save
the file onto disk. Save it in the same folder as the MIMS
medicines update you have downloaded. Double click on it to
initialise the update.
Q: I am having file download problems. What can I do?
A: We recommend downloading
the updates with a download manager:
Internet Explorer 6+ users:
IE7pro - ultimate add-ons for IE
Firefox users:
DownThemAll! - a
Firefox add-on
For help on how to use the download
managers, please refer to the support section of the
respective websites.
Q: How can I tell that the update has
worked??
A: Click the "Help" menu
within MedTech and choose "About MIMS". The issue
date should read as the first of the current month. Disregard
the words "Unregistered version" if you see them.
Q: Do I need to perform this update at
any particular computer?
A: No, although we recommend you do it at the machine with the HealthLink connection
(i.e. the one that downloads your lab results, etc.). Please refer to question 1 for more information on how to perform this on another workstation.
