MIMS Desktop is the fastest way to access
MIMS Quick Reference,
MIMS DrugAlert, as well
as a range of therapeutic guidelines.
Easy to install, updated every three months
and able to be networked around a small or large site, MIMS
CD-ROM will suit all clinicians who need access to up-to-date,
local, accurate medicines information.
Instructions for installing your
MIMS Desktop program
To install on
a single computer (recommended if you have 1-3 users)
Insert the CD and then select Install/Update
from the MIMS Desktop "Standalone setup" section
of the Autorun menu that appears.
To install across a network (recommended
if you have 3+ users)
1. Insert the CD in the CD-ROM drive at
the Server computer. Click on the "Install/Update"
button in the "Network Setup" section to proceed.
2. Follow the instructions that appear on screen.
3. At each workstation from which you wish to run MIMS Desktop
(including the server computer if this applies) access and
run the file "SETUP.EXE" which has been created
in the folder "MIMSdesk" on the server's hard drive.
